I feel bad for the cats that will have to live in shelters longer/won't be able to find their forever home because of the crabby old woman at Petco in Troy.

Found exactly the brand and product our cat loves...Thank you Petco!

She was an older woman - in her 50s - and said she didn't feel comfortable letting me adopt the cats because I was a "young man". I'm 22 years old.

I could have easily proved that with my license and grew up on a farm taking care of animals including barn/house cats. I now work from my home in RO most of the time.

I went to adopt a cat and the lady at the store was very condescending and mean and wouldn't let me adopt one.

No one asked if I needed any help finding anything, but I found myself anyway, not to friendly from what I experienced

I went to Petsmart later that week and met my best friend. I attached a picture of him - and he is so playful and affectionate.

This was supposed to be a fun experience for my son to pick his first fish for a 3 gallon tank gifted to him on Christmas. My son is 4 and couldn't wait to look at the different fish and pick out what we needed. Instead of that fun experience, I ended up having to YouTube what I needed for my tank and for the three types of fish that were spit at me for that size tank, to which we had to search the many fish to find the ones were told to us. The fish department was not busy, and the man "working" that area walked passed my son and I as we tried to figure out what we needed. It stressed me out and I walked out feeling like I knew nothing on how to care for this fish. Thanks YouTube for all your help.

I'm from NY where most clerks are crabby and disinterested so I was surprised to encounter a Troy crabby clerk. I like Michigan for more helpful staff, but not here. Cashier seemed annoyed explaining how to obtain a Petco card. She was a real dud! I liked the selection though.

A grown adult should be able to adopt a cat and men can love animals just as much as women. What is this misandry??
