OK but busy
I took a car on labor day 2015 for $30/day, but the hertz system was down that day, so they wrote all my details in a printed template and gave it to me. Also I took the option of per-purchasing the fuel as I have been told that if I leave the car with the same gas as before then i will not be charged for the gas.
I want to return the car on Sunday, so i returned it to airport with full tank of gas. To my surprise, I was charged with $224($50/per day + the gas + tax) instead of $100+. And the airport hertz told me that they cant do anything I have to go to the place where i took the car.
I came to this hertz on Monday and they told me that the transaction is completed in the system and they cannot change it. So I went to the manager and told my problem. He told that we will send a write up to the corporate office and they will take care of it. I waited of 3 weeks and i did not got any refunds. When i asked in this hertz they told that sometimes corporate might take a month to refund. Not it is more than a month and i still did not get any refund.
I am supposed to be charged for $100+ but i have been charged with $224.
