The food is good although I feel it is slightly overpriced. The service needs a lot of work. We were told 30 minute wait and waited over an hour for a table. The hostesses were disorganized and appeared overwhelmed. When we were finally seated, we got shoved in a corner at a small table meant for 2 people for our party of 3. It was also freezing cold as we were in the enclosed patio area during December.

I really enjoyed the Sunday brunch at Granite City Detroit a years ago. This year we thought we'd give Troy a try to avoid parking cost and get a location closer to most of the group. It was a mistake! They need more staff and a kitchen manager dedicated to the brunch area. People were continuously standing around the buffet waiting for plates of utensils; some of the food looked picked over and other dishes were delayed coming out. The man at the omelette station also served as the meat carver, which resulted in a lot of slightly overcooked eggs. The eggs to order lacked hollandaise sauce so they had to be sent back. Nothing tasted good, it was just there. We did enjoy the cinnamon rolls when they were served (although part of the party had to send their serving back because they were overcooked)....but unfortunately the only good thing served resulted in slight food poisoning for everyone (five people with the exact same symptoms) that ate that tray of cinnamon rolls in common. Not too surprising since I saw the chaos in the buffet serving area...I can only imagine what was going on in the kitchen. I called the manager the next evening and she said she would share the news with the kitchen staff (that's it). I am being generous with two stars because the waitstaff was nice. I typically avoid "buffets" for fear of this very thing, but the Detroit experience did have the feel of a nice Sunday Brunch and everything was fresh and delicious. Troy either needs to do the Sunday Brunch a lot better or discontinue it.

No unique dish on menu, more like fancy bar food. Nice atmosphere, bit loud for casual conversation, but clean, contemporary, cabin like feel. Reuben wasn't the best I've had, nor was the meatloaf my friend had, but i looked the place. Looked it site to outta "classy"feel and service.

I do recommend the brunch which is very good and appears to be better organized than the open dining.

My first visit but definitely not my last. Food is very good. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed my meal. Had the buffet and everything was delicious. Haven't had a better dinning experience in a very long time!

Great food! Great brewery too! Good selection of great tasting suds. Staff is well trained, and well disciplined. Highly recommend!
